Billy Birchfield was born into the photography business. His father was a photographer, cinematographer, camera store owner and later owned a photo processing laboratory.

At age 10 Billy’s first camera was a Kodak Brownie Hawkeye with which he shot black & white film. His interest in photography continued throughout his high school years and at 18 he went to work in the family photo lab business servicing professional studios from all across the country. There he learned the ins and outs of cameras, film and film processing. Eventually, as the world of photography began to change from film to digital; he closed the family business to pursue a career as a photographer.

Billy came to work at Caffco in March of 2000 where he found a new home. It was here that he made the transition from film to digital and learned that with programs like Adobe PhotoShop an entire photo lab is at his fingertips. Billy is driven by a passion for excellence and brings to the Caffco marketing team his desire to produce the best possible images to market Caffco’s diverse product line.
